The trouble is still kicking off in Syria, and as a show of support to the freedom fighters, l should get this shirt printed up, as it looks pretty cool. It's for the Free Syrian Army, but it may be back to front and say 'gullible English idiot' for all l know. Still looks cool though, so it's a risk l might take.
Plus it reminds me of the days of 'The Colburn Popular Front'.

printed t-shirts with bender, todd snider and timothy leary

I got around to buying some dark t-shirt transfers before Christmas, and this is one of the first of my creations. A Bender face (from Futurama) on a grey shirt. It looks brilliant, even if l say so myself.

Next on the list was this Todd Snider one, which looks great as well (and l've got my tickets to see him at The Borderline in London in February!). Hurrah!!!! His only English date.

This also worked out great. An old 'Turn on' poster by Timothy Leary. I should be doing this for a living, l've got such a great eye for what looks tasteful, stylish, and slightly different.

It's just a pity about the other one being wonky and crazed, otherwise, once again, l could have made my fortune.

ac/dc promo shots and their image

AC/DC were a great band back in the day, and in my mind, no better than when they still had Bon Scott as the singer. Obviously he died, and I do like the 'Back in Black' album with Brian Johnson which followed, but l lost interest in their subsequent releases pretty shortly after that. Anyway, l digress. The reason for the post is I bet Angus Young must be a bit tired of dressing as a schoolboy at whatever ripe old age he is now, but the rest of the band must be glad they achieved a better look and image than what they first started out with, as the promotional photographs above can testify to. Fancy being lumbered with that look. At least Brian Johnson can still wear his flat cap if he ever goes out in his native Newcastle.

These are some of the original (and old) superhero costumes. They certainly look pretty dated and would never be worn by any of your modern heroes, as their costumes all have to be state of the art, skin tight and fetishy creations to show off their strapping and ripped bodies. The old Batman from the TV series (an unripped Adam West) wouldn't last two minutes against the later versions. Holy Yellow Shoelaces Batman!

The expression 'Tracts of Land', or just a shortened 'Tracts' has been used by some of us around the sunny Catterick and Middlesbrough areas for quite a few years now, as another way of saying breasts. The origin of it has been disputed amongst us, but it has come to our attention that it must have started after watching 'Monty Python and The Holy Grail', where it is used there. Bugger. That means it was not an original invention on our behalf, and maybe we are not as hilarious as we first thought, but it shall continue to be used, as we are now in the habit of saying it after so many years. Some enterprising soul even has t shirts for sale! We missed out on that business opportunity.

As l was searching for an image of Sunflowers this evening (don't ask), l stumbled upon these flags for the 23 special wards of Tokyo, something l had never heard of before. I think they look pretty cool and may have to get them printed onto some T shirts (when or if l eventually get around to it.). I will claim copyright of that idea right now!
