On this day many years ago I was at Newcastle Mayfair watching Twisted Sister, in the days when you could still pay at the door for most concerts (Christ I'm old). Myself and many others have had some great nights at The Mayfair over the years, and it's sadly missed. One of the best places to see a band in the whole country, and the Friday night Rock Nights were great as well.
