luna has entered the world, and simon and garfunkel - patterns

To demonstrate how time is flying by, one of my sisters girls (Kelly) has just given birth to her first baby, who her and her partner Jamie have named Luna.
Bloody hippies.
It only seems like yesterday since Kelly herself was this size.
Coincidentally, Luna (La Lune) was also one of the first words l spoke when l was a baby, as l grew up listening to French (it's the moon) as well as English.
There are patterns everywhere if you look long enough. Just don't get started on Dendritic flow systems, Hexagons, Earthquake aftershocks related to crime etc, or you will never leave the internet, as l have found to my cost.

Thinking of Patterns - Here's Simon and Garfunkel, with their take on them.

hello hello - l'm back again!!

Did you miss me - while l was away?
Did you hang my picture on your door?
I'd better stop there before l get too identified with Gary Glitter.

Anyhow, after my extended break, l thought l would get straight back into the swing of things with an amazing photograph of a baby clutching the surgeons hand from within the womb.  The 1999 photograph is called 'The hand of hope', and is by Michael Clancy, but the staggering thing about the picture, is that the baby was not born until  four months after.
A follow up on the story can be found here.

mummies on marlboro cigarettes

That's it mummy, light up a fag and please don't shout at me.
Make a day of it and hit the booze cabinet while you are at it.

a relaxed cat and lolly

It's hard to believe that this is in the middle of a room with a lot of people having loud and drunken conversations in.
The relaxed cat (Archie?) and Lolly, at Louise and Dazzers last week.

baby carrying jacket

I don't know if this is a genius idea and looks great, or it's one of the most scary things l have ever seen.  I think I'll sleep on it (if l can).

at the caravan with the babies

What happens to the decking area when there are kids around

The crazy mother in law with Lauren and Cairan

Called in at the caravan at the weekend, and Robbo and Kerry bought Cairan along, to join Louise, Dazzer  and Lauren, so it was baby madness all the way.  Luckily there were also hotdogs, crisps, cheesecake and lager, so it wasn't that bad, plus l got to go to The Wine Bar for a while afterwards (unlike Robbo), so l could show off my chest wound.  Result!!

3D foetus in a box from japan

Those crazy Japanese have only done it again!  another great idea that l actually think will catch on amongst the people who can afford it.  After a MRI scan, the details are sent to a 3D printing facility, which then makes a resin 3D print out of your foetus.  This can then be enclosed and presented in a box.  The place that is planning on doing this is here, and as they say (in the Google Japanese to English translation)

"The best memories can be expressed in three dimensions the position of the baby at that time, posture, and appearance".

Cost is about 100,000 yen (about £900).  A bargain.
Time for the FPO to get her tubes untangled.

more babies! top talent! corfu!

As l am avoiding thinking about the football at the weekend, l have been keeping myself busy reading comics, listening to stuff, watching TV and drowning my sorrows, plus headed back to work with my tail between my legs (so to speak). The injury time goals may have been good for Ciddy and neutral fans, but they were certainly no good for my dodgy ticker, although it needs speeding up a bit.
At least l have a trip to Cofu coming up soon (with work), but as l have also been  identified as 'Top Talent', l have a trip to London and possibly extra work to be 'looking forward' to.
Also in the news, Danny and Gill have had their baby, and as everyone else seems to be having them, l am trying to persuade the FPO to get untied so we can join in.

The trouble is, it would probably come out like this.

a baby boob hat

Just what a breastfeeding mother needs for a baby. A hat that looks like a boob.
Excellent!

hidden babies everywhere

I think l am starting to crack up, as now everybody seems to be having babies, l'm seeing them everywhere.
Damn my 20/20 vision and my watery old eyes! (or maybe it's the lack of sleep).
