To no-ones great surprise, we have now reached full on propaganda and news doctoring from American news outlets, in this case Fox news, who plated an old clip of Trump saluting the return of dead soldiers to cover up the fact he was disrespectfully wearing a white baseball cap for the actual return of them.

an excellent day at the record fair
I had a rather expensive yet excellent day at Darlington Record Fair today. as one dealer had just got a Rolling Stones collection so l filled my boots with vinyl bootleg albums to the tune of £450. Very happy with my haul as they worked out to be about £28 each on average, and some were doubles. I am also a very sad man who needs help for his collecting.

more shelving nearly finished
I've nearly finished putting together yet more shelving, this time for some of my CDs. However, l want two of these, but bought one first to make sure it was of decent quality. Of course now l've gone to try and order the second matching one, they are sold out everywhere in this colour. Bugger! I now have to wait for them to be back in stock, or change my well made plans of where l am going to put it.

elvis presley - epic : elvis presley in concert
After being recommended by a couple of mates to do so, I went to see the new Elvis Presley film this morning, and l have to say, it was rather magnificent. Featuring Elvis at his peak in concert and rehearsals, it emphasised the charisma, stage presence, humour and voice, and my oh my, what a voice he had. Recommended, especially as l experienced it, in a cinema with only one other person.

Get the migrant situation under control the right wing press have been screaming, and the minute Labour start doing so, it's a disaster for the country. A good reason why Labour should not try pandering to them (and their rich offshore owners) at all. Or potential racist or right wing Reform voters. Be socialist and be proud of it.

mr nobody against putin
I watched this documentary a couple of weeks ago and can highly recommend it. Very pleased indeed it has just won a Bafta, but it highlights how quickly events and dictators can utilise all the propaganda methods at their disposal, and should be a warning for Britain regarding the rise of Reform with the backing of the right wing press and tech bosses.
