I never got to see T. Rex and would have loved to have seen them in their prime, but l was going to go to this show at Newcastle City Hall. However, my girlfriend at the time couldn't make it so l decided (rather foolishly as it happened) l'd wait till the next tour. For those not in the know, Marc Bolan died shortly afterwards so this turned out to be my last chance. Bugger Bugger Bugger.
