I was out and about last night and once again the issue of Keir Starmer supposedly deciding to not prosecute Jimmy Savile came up, as people are still convinced there was some sort of cover up by Starmer when he was head of the CPS, despite this being discredited many times. It doesn't help when people like the lying scumbag Boris Johnson deliberately spread these tales to score political points, as he obviously has no shame and a complete disregard for the truth. John Prescott had a many faults (don't we all) but was 100% a working class Labour man who loved the party, was a huge part of the 'New Labour' victories, but was unfairly maligned with the 'two jags' moniker, as though you're not allowed to treat yourself to a bit of luxury if you are working class but earning decent money.  Sod that - if you earn the money, do what you want with it. He was also infamous for smacking a protester who threw an egg  at him, but l have no issue with that, and would probably have done the same. We could do with more of his kind in politics and parliament now.
