Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft, the joint winners of 'The Traitors' have given away their prize money to Refugee charities. I'm all for this. Not just because they are good causes, but it will also annoy the right wing press so much. Of course the right will bleat on about how we should 'help our own', but complain like fuck when people suggest taxing the rich to help the poor. They are happy to support Children in Need and likeminded others who try to take up the slack, as it erodes the need for governments to take action, and the poor end up paying to try and help themselves in different guises.
And as sure as night follows day...
