I've been reading Careless People over the last couple of days and it is certainly eye opening, but not in a good way as far as Facebook / Meta are concerned, which is why they have been trying to ban it and prevent it's promotion. Highly recommended, and only £12.50 in Tesco's!.

I haven't posted for ages about books l've read or films l've seen, but having just binged watched the new Netflix series 'Adolescence', l must say that and it was pretty damn good. Filmed in one long tracking shot for each episode, it follows a young lad being charged with murdering a female classmate, and the events around it. Superbly acted, especially by Owen Cooper who plays the 13 year old protagonist Jamie, but it's certainly not a bundle of laughs. Awards however, should be a shoe in.

Call me an old cynic but my hunch is Donald Trump is yet again lying again, so that when the imaginary thousands of surrounded Ukrainians are 'spared' from a 'massacre not seen since World War 2 he will claim credit for preventing it and Putin will say he is making concessions by halting the 'massacre'. The Ukrainian's of course deny any of this is true.
As they say on 'The Last Leg' - I call bullshit, and if there was a God (there isn't) whatever that God is wouldn't want anything to do with Trump.
