Apart from the fact Manchester United were beaten by Hull yesterday, which in itself makes this season crap already, one of the annoyances of modern football is the blatant cheating which goes unpunished. As one example, Match of the Day this evening showed lots of grappling in the penalty area when corners were taken, which not only did not result in penalties, they did not even get commented on. Here's one example from the Manchester City game, where the defender is not even trying to look for the ball, and has both arms wrapped around Erling Haaland. I know l'm like Grandpa Simpson shouting at clouds, but this irritates me sooooo much!
