Well you certainly live and learn when you have an interest in stuff. I've only just found out that these two book covers match up. I've had the version of 'The Naked Lunch' on the left for many years, and a different covered 'Soft Machine' copy for just as long. Now it will eat away at me until l buy the cover featured on the right so l can get a match. I think l may need help (and a bigger house).

These men (one who didn't even know who Starmer was) were paid to do this as part of Russian interference and disruption in the UK, but according to lads in the pub and people sprouting crap online, they were 'Keir Starmer's rent boys'. Even l get links to stories like that, so God knows how much misinformation is being fed to the right wingers.

This book (can't remember what it was called or who by) was on one of those antique type shows the other day, and this made me laugh (although he was sentenced to death). 1978 - what a time to be alive
The times were certainly a-changing (again). This is pretty impressive for Sunday nights in Croydon. That's the downside of living out in the country, as if l'd lived nearby to this l'd have been there every week.
Then again, 1978 wasn't all good, although l know many people who would rather have attended these shows.

l'm looking forward to leo sayer's new book
I like the odd track of Leo Sayer (mainly very early stuff and his Daltry songs), but l'm looking forward to his soon to be released book, as he's had the most extraordinary life, and has met some incredible people, so will hopefully have many interesting tales to tell. He was also a top notch guest on the recent Word podcast / video, which is well worth checking out, even if you're not a fan. Here's an old advert showing his face without the clown makeup.
