Looking through some Life magazines from 1951 that l received yesterday (as you do), l saw these adverts for the musical 'Top Banana' starring Phil Silvers. A quick research revealed it was made into a film, and a couple of clicks later, I am now watching it on my TV. What a time to be alive! (although it is pretty crap apart from Phil Silvers, who is always funny).
I then nearly bought a 'Top Banana' t-shirt but managed to resist the call of the madness.
