Hurrah!! Although they shouldn't have been arrested in the first place.

Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia
Anthony Gordon of Newcastle FC and the people's princess Princess Di (ane). Funny how they've never been spotted in the same room together.
On Scarborough beach today. A magnificent large scale sand artwork by Fred Brown in homage to Banksy's latest. Superb stuff. Fred's Facebook page (with more sand artwork) is here.

Well done to Jimmy Kimmel for not being afraid to say this, but it's another attack of free speech by the so called defenders of free speech. Another part of the shutting down of dissent and spreading fear amongst those that oppose Trump in his fascist takeover, which is happening in real time and will probably with a dictatorship and lack of elections. Let's face it, they're nearly there already. Welcome to Thursday, in another mad week. No wonder l drink.
The Spectator has history of supporting the right (or far right) and this Freddy Grey interview should be laughable, but it also fuels the toxic atmosphere we currently live in, as the brothers who are on multiple charges of rape and sex trafficking, and are a big influence in spreading toxic masculinity, especially among young boys are believed ("I can't help believing them") FFS. Rapes and sex offences are rising rapidly, and a hard fact is that probably about 30,000 young women who have just started University in the UK this year can expect to be raped, and that's a lot to do with attitudes learnt online. There is no way that the Tate brothers should be normalised, but this is also part of the normalisation of the like of Tommy Robinson, and it's fucking depressing.

It's very rare that l put up a picture of myself, but my niece put these photographs of herself and her long dead grandmother (my mother) on Facebook highlighting their similar genes today, so l'm reposting it here. Everyone was young once.
This is how decent human beings and proper statesmen articulate their compassion while not shying away from the uncomfortable truth. If only we had people like him in charge today.

Donald Trump's sex bot 2000 looks to have malfunctioned. Someone needs to try switching her on and off.

I don't agree that we should be laying on this pageantry for a rapist and close friend of Epstein, when Peter Mandelson has basically been let go for being supportive of Epstein, the same as Trump was (even more so). However, the visit is going well because he has been kept away from the public and any difficulty questions. Hopefully that will change tomorrow at the press conference. In the meantime, l've enjoyed some of the optics around the visit, especially the projection onto Windsor Palace. Well played.
I don't remember seeing this Michael Putland photograph of Marc Bolan before, but then again, l've had a hard life, l'm a very old man, and l may have forgotten. Either way, it's magnificent. Quote below is from The Guardian.

He's not scared of saying what he's going to do in advance, l'll give him that, but it's one step at a time breaking all the rules and regulations until whatever he does seems normal, and there's nothing left in place to stop him. He's not kidding around with these statements.
And there's more!Toodle pip
When l first saw this picture I thought the car had been vandalised, but it turns out the owner did it himself. I'm actually prepared to help the Reform cause by painting other Reform supporters cars or vehicles so they also look like this, so just give me a call. Trust me, l'm more than willing to help, and l actually did paint cars many years ago, so know what l'm doing.

Want to change from a party that's absolutely fucked to one that's racist as fuck but desperate for MP's? No problem. Buy your Reform mask now. Plus, nothing emphasises 'party of the people' more than snagging a two faced Conservative hypocrite educated at Eton and Oxford with multimillionaire parents like Danny Kruger. Power hungry rats leaving a sinking ship who have no morals. More will follow
This is the sort of crap l hear every day when l'm out and about. Plus, if you go to a rally headed by a far right racist, funded by American far right racists, and supported by a far right tech multi billionaire racist invoking violence against a democratically elected party, then you're a racist. Just own it. From The Londoner.

Just as l think l need to cut down on the record buying.....
There's always more l just have to hear.
