|Make no mistake about it, this shooting with a rubber bullet of Australian reporter Lauren Tomasi was deliberate, even with the cameras filming everything.  The shooter certainly wasn't in any danger and had no need to do so, except for pure malice, but he knows that whatever he does, Trump will back him.  This would be unacceptable behaviour normally, but of course in Trump's America, we are not living in normal times, and targeting reporters takes an uneasy step up to the next level.  It is only going to get worse. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

Although my liver was screaming in protest, I hoped to be the first one through the door yesterday afternoon for my local pubs re-opening, but as l was delayed leaving work and was a couple of minutes late getting there,  about 6 pissheads were in before me (bastards!). This was the crowd after about 15 minutes. It's great to have the old place open again, especially for my mate as he's banned from the one round the corner. It's like living in an episode of Cheers.

This line up looks like it could be a fun day out, and pretty cheap at less than £50.  I'm not that bothered about Razorlight, but wouldn't mind seeing some of the others, especially White Lies. I wouldn't mind seeing The Human League the next day, but don't really care about the support bands (apart from The Farm and The Christians). I'll have to get my PA to sort out tickets and transport, and start praying it doesn't piss down.
