This is the truth of the matter, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia
Although l am certainly not a fan of the Reform Party, as a fan of newsprint, comics, books and magazines, l am happy to report that they now have their own publications. I hope they and their supporters are happy now.
I stayed at my mates house in The Boro last night and had a fine old time wit the family, including playing bowling games on the X Box with them this morning. However, Saturday night was a crazy eye opener to what some of the youth of today are into.
Although my liver was screaming in protest, I hoped to be the first one through the door yesterday afternoon for my local pubs re-opening, but as l was delayed leaving work and was a couple of minutes late getting there, about 6 pissheads were in before me (bastards!). This was the crowd after about 15 minutes. It's great to have the old place open again, especially for my mate as he's banned from the one round the corner. It's like living in an episode of Cheers.

The new issue of the rather marvellous Manchester United fanzine 'United we Stand' is out and they're being pretty damn optimistic with their front cover. I certainly want to back the manager and l really hope they are right, but l am also pretty pessimistic about the upcoming season.
Toodle pipIt's Friday, l've finished work for the weekend, and l'm off to my local that re-opens at 2pm. This had better be waiting for me.
Toodle pipRather sadly, l do think this sums up the UK's relationship with the USA under Trump. I wouldn't believe a word he says and certainly wouldn't trust him.

A great photograph of Marc Bolan, rather sadly a short while before his death, but more importantly, who on earth wants a colour phot of Boz Scaggs, and why do they think it's a good idea to advertise one?

Despite the fact that l can't stand Elon Musk and there is the fact that he is implicit in Trump being elected, this is sweet, and it's going to get very messy. Pass my popcorn.

Couldn't agree with Batman more. This is exactly the kind of conversation l hear in the pub.

In a world full of dread and fear, it's good to have something positive in the news for a little bit of respite.

This would be hilarious if l didn't think she actually has a problem and is not living in the real world..

I've ordered a couple of records from America, and they seem to be seeing a lot more of the world than l am at present. I need to book another holiday.
This is bad and depressing news, as populism and the far right continue with their assent. Have we learnt nothing from history? Sometimes l despair of other humans. No wonder l drink to tame the screaming voices in my head.
Once again - well played to the headline writer, who's gone over and above the call of duty here, and deserves a pay rise.
This is what America has become under the guidance of Donald Trump. No-one can consider themselves safe in the near future, and why did it take three months to sort out?.
Toodle pipThis line up looks like it could be a fun day out, and pretty cheap at less than £50. I'm not that bothered about Razorlight, but wouldn't mind seeing some of the others, especially White Lies. I wouldn't mind seeing The Human League the next day, but don't really care about the support bands (apart from The Farm and The Christians). I'll have to get my PA to sort out tickets and transport, and start praying it doesn't piss down.
There is a God after all!! My local pub is no longer for sale and is re-opening this Friday at 2pm, exactly the time l finish work for the weekend. That's my weekend taken care of, and it's going to get messy. I may even finish work slightly early and try and be the first customer in (because that's how l roll).
If you were in any doubt that Gordon Banks was the best goalkeeper in the world in the late 1960's / early 1970's (look up his save from Pele in 1970), here he is catching a runaway dog during a Leicester City versus Manchester United match in November 1965. Now that takes some doing.
Toodle pipIf this is the case, and l have no reason to doubt that it is not, having been in that situation in the past, then the wealth of the country needs redistributing in another way. Taxing the rich and major companies would certainly be a start.
There's film of this (have a quick google) that is better but Musk is obviously completely off his face on drugs (more than usual) in The White House, trying desperately to keep it together while Donald Trump is talking, and they have the cheek to go on about Joe Biden's mental decline. Tesla should be sending him to rehab, and the mothers of his children should be keeping a close eye when he visits. I've nothing against drugs and think they should all be legalised (and support offered for people with drug problems), but not at work ffs. Trump's presidency has normalised outrageous and illegal behaviour to such an extent that this will barely be mentioned in the press and on TV, and things are probably only going to get worse.
