It's the hope that kills you. Manchester United have been unlucky in games, but it's also been pretty dire most of the time. Hopefully (as D:Ream would say) things can only get better. Time to behave (not for the first time) like a madman and put some money on them to win the European Cup (as l still call it). You've got to have faith (as George Michel used to say). No wonder l drink.
Saw this chap on the United tour earlier today. Sure l've seen him before.
