Fraser Nelson has got a fucking cheek backtracking like this, as he was responsible for a lot of the hate and disinformation that spewed from the pages of The Spectator when he was editor. the right wing press and it's acolytes will tell you anything just to get a story, make money, and make themselves relevant or famous. Think Johnson and Littlejohn.
