A reminder that before this byelection, the SNP were 20/1 on to win with the bookies (place a £20 bet and you win £21), and Reform were second favourites. All the press was about Reform and how well they might do, and even afterwards, about how this could still be classed as a great result for Reform. Barley a mention that Labour came from nowhere to claim an unexpected victory, and The Tories were pretty much wiped out.
