I'm old enough to remember ....Liverpool 1954

I'm old enough to remember when this was still a thing. Women (and it was always the women) scrubbing and cleaning the front steps. I'm not old enough to remember when this was taken although l do remember the place.  This is from Liverpool, 1954, which even for me, was before my time.
