I know l despise he Daily Mail and the right wing press, but come on!  This is exactly the sort of thing that happens when you are not part of the European Union any more, in part because papers like this campaigned so vigorously to  persuade their readers to vote 'Leave' (and reap all of the 'benefits'). Fingerprint checks do not apply to the European Union members.
