this is leadership

I'm no fan of the Monarchy, but this showed leadership from the top, unlike  the bunch of self serving piss taking charlatans we have in power now.

Queenie must be fuming,  as l imaging she will have nothing but contempt for the current government, as she at least tries to do what is best for the country, rather than increase her own (very substantial) assets, unlike this mob.

The thing is, l don't just blame Boris regarding the recent revelations about the party he (yes he) tried to throw for 100 people last year while in lockdown.  It's good that the majority invited did not attend, with some thinking it was a joke, but this news is only being leaked now as someone has it in for Boris.  It should have been reported at the time by at least one of the many people who knew about it, including journalists and newspapers (but not The Sun, as they had one of their own). It's always been one law for the rich and powerful, with another one for the scumbags below them, but never as bad as this. The Met police have not been fit for purpose, and so far, the only person / patsy to resign has been the laughing spokesperson rehearsing the government's lies.

I've said it many times recently (see here just after the election) - Democracy is seriously at risk, both at home and in the USA, and whoever takes over from Boris when he is eventually kicked out by his own party will be more dangerous, as they'll be laying on the lies like a bad snake oil salesman, and the public will fall for it.

Also, at the time of the lockdown and party, deaths were about 300 a day, like now. Just as we are about to open up, live with it, and stop testing properly.

Manchester United are playing crap, l've got a bad cold (8th day today and not sleeping) and l am currently on 8 days at work without a break.

This wouldn't have happened with darling Harold in power (one for the kids)
