I've only just found out about Asteroid Hyalosis, and although it can he a sign of diabetes or heart trouble, I have found it fascinating, as it also looks so cool, and l want it!
Yes l am very sad, superficial man.

Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia

I've been loving the Disney Channel's 'Only Murders in the Building' and have nearly finished season three (one episode to go!), but oh my giddy aunt, this was a disturbing image. I've done a close up, so you can be traumatised as well.

I have no idea who this knobhead is, but l would 100% bet he is a Donald Trump supporter and has never heard Marquee Moon.
In a near empty room probably consisting mostly of media reporters, Suella Braverman says multiculturalism has failed. Remember she is currently the British home secretary, descended from Goan Indians from Maritius and Kenya, while being married to a Jewish person, and working under a Hindu Prime Minister, who is also a person of colour. I'd call that multiculturalism working just fine thank you.
She is also a racist, nasty, right wing troll who regularly sprouts divisive hate filed rhetoric to appease her far right backers. If the Rwanda plane ever starts taking people there, she should be on it. She will of course, make a bid to be leader of the Conservatives at some point, as she is exactly the kind of right wing shrill part of the party want, and has shown she will say anything to grab headlines and promote herself, even if it means demonising people. Her parents must be so proud.
An example of why l am all for art in the community. More of this kind of stuff please.
Artwork by Braga.
Refuse collectors are on strike. Obviously I'm not going to say the media is biased, but imagine how much coverage this would be getting if Labour were in power.
The Manchester United team that beat Liverpool in the 1977 FA Cup Final and prevented them winning the treble. With Tommy Docherty's red and white army supporting them all the way.
And then he was gone.
I'm not putting the video up as it's heart-breaking, but it's easily found. I know it's not new, but the only child who is missed out when the medals are handed out is a person of colour. And not one other adult stepped in to rectify the matter. It's been all over the internet in the last couple of days but nothing but silence from the TV news.
Toodle pipI don't care how much money Marcus Rashford spends on cars, houses, or life sized mannequins of Toby Young (son of a Lord) to kick the fuck out of, as it's his money, he's paid tax on it, and earned it by hard work, talent, and being at the top of his profession, so he can do whatever he wants with it. That doesn't mean he hasn't got a conscience, and he has done more for those less fortunate than himself than pretty much all other top earners and the government, so Toby Young (as usual) is talking crap and can fuck off.
Never vote Tory (or buy the Daily mail).
See also...Quentin Letts. Also a twat.
Never buy The Telegraph either
This time it's Mark Jenkinson being named and shamed. Twat. I think the clue might be in her twitter name.

Don't remember filming this. Must have been during the drink and drugs years (What? Yesterday? Ed)
Christ on a bike. I thought my house was cluttered, but it's nothing compared to Colin Smith's. Maybe I'm not a premiership hoarder after all, so think I'm going to have to take a long hard look at myself, up my game, and start hitting the charity shops to improve my standing. I can't be putting up with this, I've got my reputation to think of.
The game's on mutha!!!
It's amazing to think these were part of our lives for so long, and now they feel like ancient history. Time moves on, but without a knowledge of history you can't determine your destiny, and if you're not conscious of the present you're like a cabbage in this society. Check out Misty in Roots Live at the Counterculture 1979 to see where l nabbed that from (and check out Marcus Garvey to see where they nicked it from).
There's been nothing quite like Kate Bush, either before or after. What a shock to the system she was when she burst on the scene, intelligent, unusual and beautiful. What a combination, and since then she's taken time off for her family, hardly toured, given few interviews, and released records on her own terms. A true individual.
Here's her lyrics to Wuthering Heights, plus some 1978 photographs by Gered Mankowitz
I've got a large framed photograph of these in my kitchen (as you do) with the faces looking towards me and the stars. However, for some reason, l always thought they looked out onto the sea and were near the coast. How wrong l was.
This used to be the landlord when l started drinking in The Colburn Lodge in Catterick. Guess why we all used to call him Big John? Sadly, he died many years ago (although Pat his wife is still alive).
If you know, you know*, and I have this as my screensaver on my phone.
Yes...l'm a sad bastard.

Relax ladies - they're married. Much as l used to love Deep Purple, especially at the time this photograph was taken, this is still pretty cringeworthy. Looks like an outtake from the Fireball photoshoot.
Just looking at these images takes me back to being a kid, roaming the mean streets of Bootle, North Liverpool, buying Valiant and American comics, and playing football in the cinema car park (and North Park). Also getting dragged off to watch Manchester United (Home and away) with Uncle Ray, so happy days indeed.
I've been off work for the last couple of days and made the most of it by doing bugger all (apart from a trip to the dentist). I've even stayed out of the pub, but if you think l'm being healthier, here's a picture of me earlier.
