Always remember, our pitiful short lives are insignificant in the great scheme of things, so do what you want, try and be happy, don't worry about the little people, and try not to harm anyone else.
Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia

shania mcdonagh art
Ahyper realistic pencil drawing by the rather talented sixteen year old artist, Shania McDonagh. Colour me impressed.
More of her artwork can be found here.
fascisms not that far away
Support the strikers, cut the extortionate profits, and never trust the Tories, especially now they are becoming even more right wing.
ghostly england
Makes you proud to live in this glorious land A man (it's always a man) has been fined for pretending to be a ghost in Portsmouth. 'Arms on the air and saying Woooo'. Excellent stuff.

anthony norcia artwork
This artwork by Anthony Norcia has sixteen circles hidden in it. It took me a while, but once seen, they're so easy to spot you kick yourself for not seeing them sooner.

cat ecstatic to be reunited with owner
After ten years apart, Chubs, a cat from Dorset was reunited with its owner after being found 260 miles away in Manchester. Typically for a cat, it looks ecstatic.
From today's BBC website.
liz truss - probably our next glorious leader
Oh please fuck off Liz. She's got strong opinions, but as she's shown in the past, she's willing to completely change them if it means she can gain power. She's currently a Poundshop Thatcher with added racism and stupidity, but it's not good for the country that democracy is so under threat.
the halifax oyster festival mascots
Quite possibly the scariest mascots going, supposedly promoting The Halifax Oyster Festival, but probably scaring away more people than they attract.
Then again, they're bound to be featured on TV and in newspaper items, and l'm flagging them up here, so l guess they are doing their job of promoting the festival brilliantly.

the strolling bones
I didn't go to see The Rolling Stones on their 1989 tour as l'd seen them before, and wanted to remember them that way, and thought they were a bunch of old bastards by then (as did Q Magazine).
Ladies and Gentlemen (and anyone else), on the 1989 tour, Mick and Keith were both 45, and Ronnie was 41. FFS!! I think made an error.
