Oh dear. They never thought this through.

Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia
A reminder to the press. Not only is this a blatant misuse of power and corrupt as fuck from the child rapist president as America's standards sink lower and lower, but words and headlines matter. E Jean Carroll is not 'Trump's accuser'. He was found guilty of raping her in a court of law. He raped her, amongst many others. Here's a reminder.
And all concerned in the cover up should be prosecuted in the future, even if it means overturning pardons from Trump.
What l'm hearing here is you're saying Donald Trump can't sort out a deal with Iran to open the Straight of Hormuz after all? What a fucking surprise, and if only we already had a deal in place that was workable. Such as Obama's. Trump and his team will no doubt keep coming up with short fire solutions and keep pushing the problem back, while in the meantime presenting Iran with billions of dollars, going to them courtesy of the American tax payers due to Trump's arrogance and stupidity. This presidency is run by a bunch of fuckwits, but never forget, they're also dangerous ones.
As usual, when there's a chance to stir up hatred and division by being a racist fuckwit, Nigel Farage appears as if by magic with another soundbite. Yes it was horrific, and the assailant should have been jailed for longer as far as l am concerned, but if it had been the other way round and it was the white person committing the crime, there wouldn't be a peep out of Farage and his far right cronies, rather like the silence that deafens us all when white people are jailed for being part of grooming gangs (see below). The hypocrisy is staggering but also expected. These 'concerned citizens' are only bothered about 'foreigners' and by that, l mean ones who aren't white. Farage isn't concerned about any of this apart from his right wing perspective and appealing to his supporters who think he is a 'man of the people' who has their best interests at heart. They are in for a nasty shock if he gains power, as the ill educated lower classes will be the fist to suffer as he makes his rich backers wealthier by deregulating and privatising. The ECHR is our friend, and is in place to protect the vulnerable against the likes of Farage, so it's no wonder he wantsto do away with it. A twat of the highest order.
Considering all the Islamophobia and fear of Muslims l see creeping into the political discourse to stir up hatred, Mayor Mamdani (a Shia Muslim) in New York is doing a magnificent job, emitting love and humanity while trying to help the less fortunate (of all races). Well played Sir, and if only more politicians were like him. Hope not Hate.

My mate's brother has just bid and bought this. He's lucky l didn't know about it beforehand as it looks pretty damn good on his wall.
I was thinking of buying an original 1969 copy of Jenny Fabian and Johnny Byrne's book 'Groupie' (as you do) and was looking at ebay when l saw this. Labelled 'Good Condition'. Hmm...l think not. I'll pass for now.
Rather sadly, this is really looking loke it's happening. Scared kids on the reverse side

I thought l'd pop to Tesco for a few items last Monday morning before hitting town, as l needed some milk and bread. As l'm also an impulse buyer, think l may have veered from the original task.

I'm a long term fan of Alice Cooper and thought about going to this book tour event in Stockton, but looking at the prices, l'll stay at home, listen to the old records, and remember past concerts instead. If a guaranteed meet and greet was included, that would be a different (ecumenical) matter.
As a side note, the closest l ever got to having a child (as far as l know) was with a girl from London l had a short fling with who l originally met at an Alice Cooper show. I visited her a few times and the romance shortly fizzled out in a friendly manner. However, she later suffered severe stomach pains and was rushed to hospital whereupon it was discovered she was in the process of an ectopic pregnancy. She got in touch after she had recovered to inform what had happened, thinking l should know. Looking back l should have sent her flowers or gone to visit her to check she was OK but l was young idiotic knobhead, so of course l didn't. If l had my time again etc.........
The Freedom 250 concert, now being replaced by a Trump dementia induced rant instead. America in 2026 summed up.
Well of course Pam Bondi won't answer questions. She's protecting a president who rapes and abuses women and children. There will be a special place in Hell for these people.
I haven't played this album for a long time, but when it first came out l was blown away by it. Much better than their first one IMHO.

My bar bill for last Friday night. To say a good time was had by all is n understatement. Some of these drinks were bought for others, but l obviously got ones bought back so it's certainly impressive (or more like a cause for concern). Proof that I live like Henry VIII, and l also scored with a beautiful lady (picture below).

I'm just leaving this here as a representation of how times have changed in America.
The White House prior to Trump.

Well knock me down with a feather, l'd never heard of these perfume bottles before, but now l have, you can colour me impressed. These small glass wonders are unguentaria, the perfume bottles of the Roman Empire made around the year 50-100 AD. What makes them unique is not only their elegant dove shape but a mechanism so radical that it turns them into single-use objects: to access the aromatic oil or balm they contained, one had to break the neck of the bird or its tail, depending on the amount one wanted to extract. The container was destroyed to reveal its treasure. More here.
