One man's misery is another man's happiness (or something like that).

Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia
Well of course Pam Bondi won't answer questions. She's protecting a president who rapes and abuses women and children. There will be a special place in Hell for these people.
I haven't played this album for a long time, but when it first came out l was blown away by it. Much better than their first one IMHO.

My bar bill for last Friday night. To say a good time was had by all is n understatement. Some of these drinks were bought for others, but l obviously got ones bought back so it's certainly impressive (or more like a cause for concern). Proof that I live like Henry VIII, and l also scored with a beautiful lady (picture below).

I'm just leaving this here as a representation of how times have changed in America.
The White House prior to Trump.

Well knock me down with a feather, l'd never heard of these perfume bottles before, but now l have, you can colour me impressed. These small glass wonders are unguentaria, the perfume bottles of the Roman Empire made around the year 50-100 AD. What makes them unique is not only their elegant dove shape but a mechanism so radical that it turns them into single-use objects: to access the aromatic oil or balm they contained, one had to break the neck of the bird or its tail, depending on the amount one wanted to extract. The container was destroyed to reveal its treasure. More here.

I've met many fine people on my American travels, including from down south, but this has a lot of truth to it (and yes, l do know there's also a fear of communism.

Don't think l've seen these pics before, both of Marc Bolan taken at the same time from different angles.

Now this is what l call an excellent design, although l think it would look better without 'the war' lettering added. Available from here.

Richmond Bank Holiday Monday. It was hot hot hot, and much ale was consumed. Some of the lads yesterday.
It's going to be scorchio tomorrow, and it's going to get messy. I really should know better.

I made a mistake purchasing this when l was drunk, and it made me believe Tears for Fears had lost it.

I've said it before and l'll say it again, Status Quo used to be great. Mind you, the Aphrodites Child '666' album is pretty tremendous as well. Featuring a young Demis Rousoss.

I was in York yesterday for a training day, which as The Fast Show used to say, was 'Nice'. l've been working in Social Care for many years and know how underfunded and stretched it is, and as a result of this (and Brexit) about one third of the training participants were from Nigeria or some other foreign country, some of whom l have had the pleasure of working with. Exactly the people being demonised by the far right and their supporters, but 'send them back' and the whole system would collapse. I'm sad to say Labour are not coming across as appreciating them either, with the current long term visa plans being put forward for low paid workers. It's all one giant mess, and more money needs to be inputted.

OK - l know Southampton were spying and they deserve to be punished in some way, but to claim you were trying to keep tactics secret when you are practicing them on an open playing ground is absurd. Also, most clubs can't afford lush indoor (and private) practice pitches, so what's going to stop any would be 'spies' giving phones to children to record sessions? This way madness lies.
From the BBC.
Here's Middlesbrough's training pitch.
It's Whit Monday next week, and as usual, we will be heading to Richmond for our annual Bank Holiday Monday pissup. The weather forecast is certainly looking promising at the moment. Bring it on l say. Scorchio!!!
