Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia

Rather sadly, this is where it was always going to lead, and l expect there will be more killings. The sheer nastiness and hateful rhetoric spewed forth pretty much every day by the government and it's lackies was always going to have consequences.

I've got two questions with this photograph.
First off - How did they gain access to my house to take the photo?
Second - that was a joke, but what was the point of buying the cleaning foamy scrubby things? (can't remember their name).
Despite the fact that these Waterboys Glasgow gig posters are AI generated, l like them a lot, and if l wasn't working, l'd be tempted to go for the last night, and if you can, do so. It's a splendid evenings entertainment.
This should have garnered a lot more press and lots of comeback from anyone who cares about the constitution. It's dictatorship language.
And a reminder. At the same press conference...Forcefully handcuffing a Senator.

Rather sadly, much as l am 100% behind protests l can envisage protests against Donald Trump's parade this weekend ending up this way.

The country supposedly has no money and there's food banks galore, yet one of the many royal palaces has a fucking gold toilet worth 4.75 million that was nicked? I've been a dodgy lad in the past and apparently l'm a law abiding upstanding citizen now, but even at my old age, l'd have been tempted with this. Abolish the monarchy.

In news that will surprise no-one, the ring wing press who bang on relentlessly about the rich leaving the UK if they get taxed properly, or their workers receive decent pay and conditions, are once again printing crap right wing propaganda. Recent surveys show only 0.03 of the millionaires left, as (and lets face facts) if you're that rich and want to live in London or have a huge estate in the country, you want to remain here, and have more than enough money anyway (and how much money do you need?). The staggering fact is that we have over 3.06 million millionaires. I'd never have guessed there were that many living here (alongside the poverty and the food banks).
Full story from Byline Times is here.
In the local on Wednesday. It's fair to say we get some characters in, and this is one of them - Taff (you could probably have guessed his nickname), looking like a deranged Jimmy Saville, and if you look closely, there's Fred, a retired Colonel in the background.
I've recently read Margaret Atwood's 'The Handmaids Tale' and 'The Testaments', which were both excellent but should serve as a dire warning for America. They did however, make me appreciate the Oftaco image even more. Well played.

Looking forward to the upcoming Oasis tour and have a spare 1.5 / 2 million pounds to spare? This Elizabeth Peyton 1996 painting of Oasis could be yours! The art world is obviously mad, and my ramshackled old parrot could do a better painting, but what the hell - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. At Sotheby's in June.
FFS. I've said it before and l'll say it again. I think Liz Truss has a mental issue. There is no way on Earth that this is good news. Also, when blame gets thrown around, don't forget that Iran continued with nuclear escalation after Donald Trump pulled out of Barrack Obamas deal with Iran to check their nuclear capabilities, and America also continues to arm Israel, aiding them to carry out these attacks (and commit Genocide in Gaza).
