Labour's refugee plans make me ashamed to be a Labour voter, and it has nothing to do with Socialism and helping people in need. Another foolish (and cruel) policy to try and appease Reform voters while sending Labour voters to the Green party. I despair at the idiocy of it.

I'm a man brimming with curiosity regarding interesting things, including media such as films, books and music. However, there are only so many hours in the day to indulge, so when l see a post from Birmingham 81 about swopping cds with a mate, and the accompanying picture of said cds, it drives me up the wall, as l've not heard of most of the songs or artists, and l won't be able to sleep at night unless l investigate further, as they obviously rate them. Luckily (or unluckily) a The Spotify playlist was provided. Now l just have to find the time to listen to it. Curses all round.

If it's Wednesday and l'm off work, it's time for Wednesday club at one of the locals. This will be me in just over an hour arguing football, politics, music and random crap from old TV shows. I picked a fine time to give up drugs.
amsterdam has museums?
I've been to Amsterdam on numerous occasions but of course because of my wannabee Keith Richards lifestyle, while l have been here l have never even glimpsed Ann Frank's house, The Tulips, or the inside of any museum (apart from a sex one). I must admit though, that the inside of the H'Art Museum does look rather splendid. By the way - l have been to many museums and art galleries over the years in various countries so l'm not a complete philistine, it's just that Amsterdam was always a place for hedonism, and it sure as hell delivered back in the day. I've also thought naked in a Roman Amphitheatre, but that's another story.

the weathermen's place is up for sale
An old post re-upped
With a really corny headline about the apartment exploding onto the market, the place that 'The Weathermen' used as their bomb making factory at 18 West 11 Street, (with the resulting accidental explosion in March 1970 a consequence) is now up for sale through Corcoran brokers for a cool $10.9 million. Dustin Hoffman and his family narrowly escaped the blast, as they lived next door at the time.
The top photograph is me (my arm anyway) pointing at the bear in the window in 2006. This was dressed by Norma Langworthy, who his since passed away at the ripe old age of 92, but hopefully her descendants will keep the tradition going.
How time flies, and how sickening it is how gentrified New York is becoming.

the pub clientele let me down (again)
I finished work this afternoon and as l was tired, rather than watching a bit of tele and falling asleep, l met up at the pub first for a few drinks and 'entertainment' first. Once again however, it let me down.

I'd never seen or heard of the Rolling Stones album until a couple of days ago, but because of the rather splendid photograph of the band on the cover, l now need to find myself a copy. It's not easy being an idiot collector - you've got to put the hours in.
gb news and where the fuck are ofcom?
I know GB 'News' is a Reform station nowadays (even worse than when it started) but what the fuck are Ofcom doing about it? I'll tell you what they are doing - fuck all. This crap shouldn't be broadcast and all the station does is stoke up hate and distrust towards foreigners. 'illegals' and (at the moment) Muslims, who in their eyes are trying to take over the country and will kill all of us whites (The great displacement theory). No wonder l'm always arguing with ill informed dickheads in the pub when they are fed this nonsense 24 hours a day. Close it down.
