Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia

Not looking too happy after the Manchester United draw with Burnley last night. Hmmm...Maybe they should have given Ruben Amorim till the end of the season after all?

Modern dictatorships reading George Orwell's '1984' as a plan, not a fictional warning (not that Trump would read a book).

BP (The Beep) Fallon in a rare shot 'playing' bongos with T.Rex. I chatted to him a few years ago about T.Rex at an aftershow party and he was a lovely sweet guy, just as l'd imagined he would be. I also didn't want to bug him too much but looking back, l could have done for longer and l wish l had. Then again, Sinead O'Connor was also there so l had other fish to fry.

After all the recent crappy stories, a reminder to breath in, reflect and relax. Life could be a whole lot worse. Here's a nice picture of a kitten to demonstrate.

The original statement.
As the fascism continues in plain site, here's a couple of treaties Trump wants no part of.

I'd like to know where Renee Nicole Good went for her coordinated training to use her car as 'a weapon'. This Trump administration always go lower when you foolishly think the bottom has already been dredged. Trump's statement, AFTER HE SAID HE HAD SEEN THE VIDEO was that the ICE shooter had been run over and was in danger of his life, so he knows he's lying when he said that. At times like these l hope there is actually a literal heaven and hell so people can reap their 'rewards' in the afterlife. Fingers crossed.

We've all seen the video now. Homeland security are lying twats and the shooter should be prosecuted (but of course he won't be). It was only a matter of time before ICE started killing people, and l'm sure there will be more. Welcome to Trump's America part 365656.

These people will die under Labour's watch, and l don't care what ministers may say, they are not terrorists. It's a fucking disgrace that the country should be ashamed of, and there is almost no coverage of it in the mainstream (and l'm old enough to remember Bobby Sands etc being all over the news with pretty much day by day coverage).
Full article is here.
Let's hope this all plays out, but l very much doubt it. In fact l wouldn't be surprised if the midterms didn't happen because of a 'State of Emergency' or suchlike as troops are once again in American cities (only this time killing people to dampen down 'unrest') and the country is 'engaged' in Greenland or elsewhere. Nothing is past him, apart from his upcoming death, as he is most definitely not a spring chicken.
Waking up from a stinking cold and some mad dreams to see this. I think l've maybe taken too much 'medication' over the years.

Pah! This is nothing. My vacuum cleaner has a human that can pick it up and use it in any room and on any surface, and then empty the cylinder afterwards, like a compliant dog owner picking up it's crap. It has also, while unattended, been gathering dust in the spare room for quite some time. However, not in a cleaning way.

How have l missed these films in the past? 'Wake Up Dead Man' is top notch film making and an unexpected (to me at least) delight. I saw a couple of minutes of one of them a few years ago with Daniel Craig in a pool talking in a funny accent but it never appealed to me at the time, but after watching this l went back and binged the earlier ones. All superbly executed and acted, and l have since ordered the DVD of 'Brick', the first of writer / director Rian Johnson's offerings. Very well played to all, and more as soon as possible please.

This attack would never have happened on her watch and thee world would be a much safer place.

It's one thing being coy and evading questions on Venezuela (although they should condemn it), but Greenland? FFS It's time Labour showed some backbone. This is not a difficult answer to give, and if it is they don't deserve to be in power (and l'm a Labour supporter).*

Here we go again. Another manager gone, this time it's Ruben Amorim, lasting for 14 months, and of course just as we are starting to see signs of improvement and the football was improving. He still hasn't had a full season, the squad is rubbish, and we reached a European final last year, despite him coming in half way through the season when he didn't want to (probably because of this scenario). Yes there have been some awful games, but this is easily our best spell and we've had some great results against some top teams, and better performances and fighting for the team / showing team spirit have been there recently, plus a week to prepare for games and improve tactics and set pieces with all the squad back was an option for the second half of this season, with the belief growing (slowly l'll admit). No one benefits from the constant chopping and changing, and it undermines each manager as players know they might not be there for the long run, so if players decide not to put a shift in there are less consequences. I'd at least given Ruben till the end of the season and access it then. This however, is crap, but he's obviously had a falling out with someone at the club questioning him recently.

I'm old enough to remember the Brexit he pushed for was about 'sovereignty / taking back control / not being ruled by leaders we didn't appoint" What a spineless money grabbing lying racist twat he is.

I'm a fan of James O'Brien and l also like eating chicken, but despite the fact l know that they are obviously killed so that l can eat them, this praise for the food outlet hits home more in that it highlights a chicken will be killed just for me, and l would not be able to go into a shop and request that, and l am not having a go at the shop or James (as l know him). I was pretty much vegetarian years ago apart from KFC (yes - l know!) but l may well head in that direction again at some stage as this has given me something to think about. Then again, drink has been taken (Bailey's if you must know) so l may change my mind again tomorrow, and it also looks so nice.
This page featuring the late great Marc Bolan is from Music Scene magazine dated January 1st 1973, and it would make a great lp cover (minus the small writing). Somebody please sort it out. Merci Beaucoup!
Sometimes, especially in these times, you've got to make your own fun and just try to enjoy life. It also helps if you try and ignore some of the crap football.
