donald trump in danger!!!
Donald Trump had better watch out. If he puts on any more fake tan he'll be getting deported by his own ICE agents, something l would pay good money to witness.

Nothing to see here. Just a great photograph of a puffin about to land. Check out those feathers!

the sad reality of life in the shadow of keith richards
Due to the clientele l am about to shortly encounter, I don't know why l bother putting on my glad rags to head to the pub, especially on a Sunday afternoon, and especially nowadays. I foolishly still think l look like the top picture, when in reality, it's probably more like the second. Time is indeed a cruel mistress. I blame God.

at least 64 recent murders by the usa
In a normal society this should be all over the news and the president should be impeached for targeting and blowing up boats, many, many miles away from the USA, with or without 'drug smugglers' in them. If smuggling drugs, they should be stopped and arrested, and given a trial. This is just murder, and innocent people will also have been killed, just to satisfy Donald Trump's latest whim to destabilise Venezuela. At least the commander in charge had the decency to resign, rather than following these orders.
Also, to no-ones surprise. The constitution is now worthless.

richard brautigan 'jubilee hitchhiker' by william hjortsberg
I've enjoyed many of Richard Brautigan's books in the past, and thought about reading this biography. That was until l saw the size of the bloody thing. I'm an old man with things to do and fish to fry - l just haven't got that much spare time to give to it.
michael heseltine - reform is fascist
Remember - this is a man who was happy to be in Margaret Thatcher's government, but at least he's speaking the truth now.

the men who raised the flags
A very interesting article in The Mill (here) about some of the prominent people who have been putting up the flags nationwide that Nigel Farage likes to call 'ordinary citizens'. As you would imagine, there's some dodgy characters. Never vote Reform.

good news for a change - bluesky is thriving
Fuck Elon Musk and the hate-filled sedge-pool that Twitter has become, get on board with Bluesky, and enjoy it while you can, before it inevitably gets overloaded with bot accounts and hate filled crap. You know it makes sense.
adelita grijalva - still not sworn in RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!!!!!!
This would be unheard of in any normal functioning democracy. Unfortunately, that description no longer applies to the USA. It just makes me want to see what's in those Epstein files even more.

parody keir starmer outperforming the original
Much as l am a 9dissapointed) Labour supporter, it's a bad state of affairs when a parody Keir Starmer outperforms the real version who has all the power.

elon musk and twitter can fuck off
Nothing to see here, just Elon Musk trying to stir up more division to suit his dictatorship right wing views. The government should be calling this crap out and should most definitely not be posting on Twitter.

Lies, lies, and more damn lies as they play politics while people can't feed their families. A special place in Hell awaits.

Everyone should just refer to it as this, as you know how much it would annoy the sex offending orange buffoon.

RIP June Lockhart (Lost in Space / Lassie)
Another part of my childhood has sadly left the building. June Lockhart, who was in the 'Lost in Space' TV series (and 'Lassie') which l loved as a kid. Mind you, she was 100 years old, so has had a good innings.

money lost and found - a close call at work
I had a close call yesterday as l was supporting someone in the community and assisted them to withdraw £130 from their bank on their cash card. We then went into Tesco's, bought some bananas (as you do), and returned to their home in the car, where it was discovered they had lost the £130. Damn!! However, much to my surprise, when l went back to Tesco to enquire if any money had been found, someone had handed it in and it was all there, which was more of a surprise as it was all loose notes. In fact one of the guys behind the counter recognised me when l walked back in and said 'I bet l know why you're here'. Phew! Close call, and it shows people can sometimes exceed your expectations of them, as l had pretty much given it up as a lost cause and was just going through the motions by returning to Tesco and checking.
