What a great idea, although some are pretty unnerving as they look like Dave from the pub's back profile.
Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia
What a great idea, although some are pretty unnerving as they look like Dave from the pub's back profile.
It's good to know our great and good our out and about doing their patriotic duty as 'concerned citizens'. England's brightest and finest.

I had the TV on in the background last night and Blind Dates was on. A lad then walked on who l saw in my peripheral vision and l thought 'that looks like Asher from the local pub'. Well knock me down with a feather (Clever Trevor) - it was. Totally unexpected as l had no idea he was going to be on it. This is him in the info for it.

It's week two of the football, and l'm hoping for Manchester United's first win, and Mr Parrot is still unwell. Thoughts and prayers are being sent out to all concerned. If l only had faith someone was listening...

As if this is breaking news. I know it's been reported on lately but action and condemnation should have been taken a long time ago,as this has been a deliberate action by Netanyahu, alongside the destruction of Gaza itself (targeting Hamas hiding places my arse). History books will not look back upon this favourably. Plus..STOP THE ARMS SALES!
Much as l think Lucy Connelly has now served her sentence and should be allowed to get on with her life, l'm also waking up this morning to these sycophantic headlines and stories from the usual culprits who are trying to turn her into some kind of martyr and now a new narrative, Keir Starmer's 'Political Prisoner'. She's a nasty piece of work who was inciting setting fire to buildings with people inside at the height of tensions which could have turned even nastier than they did, and pleaded guilty under laws and sentencing guidelines put in place by the previous Conservative government, who also by the way, had no trouble putting migrants in hotels and deliberately slowing their process' down, but l didn't see protesters or the right wing press banging on about that then. Hatred is being stirred up and weaponised and it's going to end in tragedy, and to get back to Lucy Connelly, her post could have caused that.
Very well played by Mark here. The lad will go far. Also, check out British Values according to Grok. Something the right certainly don't abide by, as much as they protest (see what l did there) they do.
Well played Sir, and much respect. I was already a fan of his, but he has certainly gone up in my estimation.
According to Sarah Vine. Another hate stirring nasty piece of work in a right wing rag that is the embodiment of the divisive and hate fuelled problem the country is facing.
Despite the fact l have way too many records and CDs, many of which l will never find the time to listen to, as my collection increases every week (a bit like my waistline), l'd still like to hear most of these cassettes. I'm always open to new music, and let's face it, these tapes are sure to have many top tunes that l've never heard before. If only l was indestructible
Oh hold on.....perhaps l am.
If only there was a time machine where we could go back to those times (and have plenty of money to enjoy them). Times certainly weren't perfect by any means, but imagine the concerts you could see.
Apart from the fact l may have played for these back in the day, this certainly suits Farage better.
This copy of 'Born to Run' looks unusual. I'm sure it's going to be a collectors item and was well worth the money.

I'm loathe to admit it, but this is a very good idea by Reform, and l think they will sell lots of these kits. At least now l will be able to spot the right wing racists from a distance.

What a waste of time and a further distraction from the Epstein files. Putin is not conceding anything, and has definitely got some kind of hold over Trump, apart from the fact Trump admires 'strong men', who the general public class as dictators. Once again Trump talked a good fight beforehand, and backed down on everything, including sanctions. Let's face it, any right thinking person knows he is on Putin's side, and is undermining and trying to destroy democracy both in the United States, and Europe. Don't believe anything he says, and release the Epstein files.
The new season is starting and as usual, l'm a mixture of being a very positive person regarding life in general, and a very pessimistic person regarding Manchester United's fortunes. Of course you have to support your team through thick and thin, and they have actually made some decent signings. Do l think they have a chance of winning the League? Frankly, not a chance in hell. On the other hand, that hasn't prevented me from putting a £10 bet on them to do so, just in case (and for bragging rights if they do). As usual, it's the hope that kills you, but l can't wait for Sunday afternoon's game against Arsenal. Luckily l have Monday off to recover and dry my tears.

Mr Parrot is still not well and l've had to take him to the exotic pet service for treatment and medication. Luckily he wasn't struggling due to being unwell, but he's a pitiful sight at the moment. Fingers crossed for a recovery, as l love the grumpy little boy.

I've just watched the second show of the new South Park series, and they are certainly still not pulling any punches. It's just such a shame that the majority of news outlets and broadcasters are not holding the Trump administration to account as much as the satirists are. It'll be interesting to see how long they can keep this up.
I used to love the mighty Status Quo back in the day, and although l wasn't that bothered about going to see them when they reformed, it was great that they did before the grim reaper started taking his toll. The reason for this information sharing is I only saw these pictures for the first time the other day, and l must admit it gave me a pining for the past, and a warm feeling (and no - l hadn't wet myself).

Never be a grass. Especially for £1. You never know how other people may be struggling, and l'm speaking as a person who has a brother who works in store security.
Toodle pipNow this is impressive, and once again with a lot of these great ideas, it makes you think "I could have thought of that" but of course, you haven't, and probably never would. Simple seeming ideas in art or music are not as easy as they seem, otherwise we'd all have written 'Yesterday' and suchlike. And l'd be a lot richer.
