Ever wondered what the inside of a spacesuit looked like? Wonder no more. It looks like a lot of things that could break down to me.
Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia

When football was better part 8676 Denis Law and George Best
The happy days of following Manchester United. Denis Law and George Best celebrate a goal (against Arsenal by the look of it), although to be fair, few years later they were relegated to the then Second Division, and then had to tolerate Liverpool's supremacy throughout the 1970's and 80's, so it wasn't all plain sailing. As everyone is getting older or dying, l thought that pretty soon l would be one of he few people alive who could boast about watching them play in a lower league, but the way they are currently playing it might happen again* shortly and I'm certainly not looking forward to the Liverpool game on Sunday.
* Joke - they're not that bad (at the moment).

more tory lies part 8457989685669856 - rishi sunak at the covid enquiry
Once again, the rich just take the piss, even at their own Covid enquiry. I find it more than slightly suspicious that the main protagonists of the whole Conservative lack of response and mismanagement of Covid have all lost their whatsapp messages, and are not being held to account for this. I'd ask if they deleted the messages themselves, or if anyone else did, and then try to unlock those messages and prove if they were lying (which of course they are). Christ on a bike, l'm old enough to remember as far back as summer time, when Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak were prepared to go to court to avoid handing the messages over, and now we are to believe they have all just disappeared into the ether. I call bullshit. Get their whatsapp details and recover the messages. Then lock them up.

another frigging leaflet from rishi sunak
I don't think they have a clue how much they are wasting their money putting Rishi Sunak leaflets through my letter box (he's my local MP). I guess it's something extra to line Mr Parrot's cage with.

another music room for when l win the lottery
This room is slightly too dark for my liking as it would be hard to spot any spiders straight away, but my oh my, it's magnificent. One of these days when the lottery win comes in.........

more bleeding cds and books!
Today's haul from the charity shops. Only another 30 cds and 3 books. Once again, l need more money and a bigger house.
I also like unusual items found in records and books, and today was no exception, with a Ringo Star cartoon postcard in the John Lennon book l bought.

the sgt pepper's 2023 deaths picture
It's not the end of the year yet but this is getting pretty full, and that's without the deaths of the last week or so. It will only get worse in the future, as no-one's getting any younger.

the rolling stones look a bit different
I'd never seen this photograph before and it was bugging me wondered where it was from, as l recognised the backdrop. I now know it was a rehearsal for the Ed Sullivan show, but notice anything unusual? Only Ian Stewart on bass. Bill Wyman must have been busy with his lady 'friends'.

crack between his buttocks
This must be a contender for front page headline of the year. From the Dundee Evening Telegraph. Well played!
Toodle pipbloody football's let me down yet again
I was rather foolishly looking forward to the Manchester United versus Bournemouth game today. I thought Bournemouth have been playing well and would score, but hoped and bet that United would eventually win 2-1. How wrong was I? Another defeat, only this time a resounding 0-3 at home, and with Bayern Munich and Liverpool to play this week, the outlook is bleak, despite me being on holiday. No wonder l drink.

the face of an ant
I've got a different framed photograph of an ants face (Don't worry - l know l'm strange), but l really like this one by Andrea Hallass. An especially evil looking one. Aliens already walk amongst us!!

boris johnson lying part 987596465
Here we go again with the same old bluster and self serving lies, this time before the Covid enquiry. He should be in prison along with a few of his colleagues.
Also...
Oh oh....
And lastly....

another normal day for the uk - child poverty
From todays Daily Mirror (more here). It makes you proud to be British (not). Let's face it though, this doesn't come as a surprise under this heartless government, who just like all previous Conservative governments, make the rich richer, and the poor poorer, as a deliberate strategy.
Never vote Tory.

the beatles after the let it be preview
The Beatles after watching a preview of the 'Let it Be' film, which highlighted some of the then tensions within the band. It's not a surprise that they don't look very happy, and over an hours worth of material was later cut from it.

another day of football disappointment
Me after the football today. I'd like to say l had high hopes beforehand, but obviously l didn't.

me arguing politics in the pub
Here's me in the local pub, arguing with all of the Conservative voters. It's good to keep yourself entertained, especially when out drinking.
Never vote Tory.

my favourite chicken - the sebright
Well reader, l bet you never thought l'd have a favourite chicken. Well l do, and here it is - the Sebright. The brown one looks like someone has been let loose with a marker pen on it, and the white ones look like they need colouring in. If l ever start keeping chickens, these are the ones l'd go for, just to amuse myself every time l laid eyes on them.
Mind you, l don't think Mr Parrot would be happy with the competition.

RIP Shane MacGowan
It's not exactly a great surprise that Shane MacGowan has died today, as he hadn't been well for a while, and it's pretty amazing he even made it to 65 years old. I'm not a great fan of his music, but even l could recognise the man was full of talent and a true poet. Of course, like many others, l have had a drinking session with him and one of my mates, down in that London, in The Sir George Roby, and very entertaining it was too, even ended with kisses all round between us. He'll be missed.
Here he is with Podge and Rog, not me and my mate.
