lara the rescue dog returned
This annoys me so much. Getting a new puppy is fine, but if the dogs didn't get on, the puppy should have been returned, but I guess the family found it cuter. Then to try and get Lara, the original dog put down is disgusting. I'd ban them from having any dogs. Gits.
the daily mirror becomes the daily mail
The Daily Mirror is usually to the left of politics and is also usually on the side of the poor. Professional shoplifting is one thing, but shoplifting to feed your family or obtain essential goods because you are poor for whatever reason is something else entirely. If you see someone stealing baby milk, look the other way, and encourage them afterwards to shoplift from the big supermarkets, not small shops.
Blame austerity and the Tories.
Toodle pipportakabins are on standby
Now you may well call me a cynical old bastard, but l fully expect the person or firm given this contract will have already donated to the Tory party, or be connected to one of them.

george best - 60 years ago today
When the God given talent of George Best made his Manchester United debut against West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford. Things would never be the same, and l wish there were more film of him in his prime.

tim gurner is why socialism is important
This is a perfect example of why Trade Unions and Socialism is important and why Capitalism is for knobheads. Australian knobhead Tim Gurner is calling for 40 - 50 percent unemployment because the workers need to know who is in control, basically putting the workers in their place, and no doubt lowering wages at the same time to maximise profits for CEO's like him. In England, this sort of idea would normally be put forward under the guise of the right wing Tufton Street IEA type platforms and then highlighted and defended on TV for many weeks afterwards, making it appear as a valid strategy for the good of the nation. Fuck him and fuck them all. Non violent retribution should take place to annoy the fuck out of him and everyone who supports him, otherwise they just crack on with their wonderful lives, not giving a toss about the people who helped earn the money for them.. What a full on 100% knobhead. Knowing what he's like, I wish l'd played football against him at some stage, as there might have been a slightly mistimed tackle flying in. Then again, for some unknown reason, l assume he played rugby.
Never vote Tory, and l bet the grovelling shit apologises because of the upcoming backlash.

Come on, we've all wrestled naked in a Turkish Coliseum haven't we? No? Maybe just me and my mate then.

dr peter hilton in the times defending the idefensible.
Dr Peter Hilton in a letter to The Times showing why woman are subject to inappropriate actions and comments, while being bullied. What a fucking rotter. People like him should have been doing something to stamp out these actions, rather than defending them and victim blaming. I hope he's not still working.

the coming wave - mustafa suleyman
Just finished this Mustafa Suleyman book which arrived yesterday and it is both amazing and scary. It's looking forward to the advancements with AI and robotics, amongst other topics such as DNA modification, while also setting out some plans and ideas for restraint and regulation. This will affect everyone in the next 5 - 10 years, not just in the loss of jobs, and it is mind boggling. Highly recommended.
first big spider of the year
This big (now dead) bastard was waiting for me in the kitchen this morning. First one of the year, and l'm certainly not looking forward to any more, although l'm sure they are coming (or already hiding somewhere).

a handy guide to british corvids
I've got some of these bastard Jackdaws nesting just outside my bedroom window. Not good in summer time, as they are noisy little gits as soon as the sun starts rising. However, l also feed them, so it's partly my fault.
Toodle pipgillian keegan update - more tory corruption
When will this corruption ever end? It's like they are trying to milk every single penny out of the public purse and distribute it to family, friends and donors. A lot of them would be in jail if they weren't protected by their position, wealth and backing form colleagues. It rotten to the core, and it stinks.

jordan henderson - not doing it for the money
Despite the fact Jordan Henderson is ex Liverpool, l feel a bit bad picking on him for being two faced and taking the Saudi Arabian money, after his stance supporting the LGBTQ community, because at least he did support them at a time when hardly anyone else did. However, this is clearly about the money, as he would have had lots of other options to continue playing, at many other clubs and countries, and let's face it, after playing for Liverpool for years on footballers wages, he won't exactly be on the breadline. Plus, l agree with this statement from Christian Hewgill.
