After Fiona Bruce on BBC Question time clarified that Stanley Johnson breaking his wife's nose was a 'one off'

Booze, news and views from a drunken opinionated fool who can't spell very well, may well repeat himself, and can't blame it on dislexia

The George Orwell statue outside the BBC. How ironic.

The state of modern Britain. I would bet my house he voted for Brexit and The Tories. The badly dressed piss stained illiterate lump of congealed lard.
Never vote Tory.
A leopard never changes it's spots. The Daily Mail in 1938. Of course the language used today is soooo different.
I'm 100% behind Gary Lineker, and sod the Conservative party complaining about the BBC and their so called impartiality rules against employees (Despite the current BBC chair Richard Sharp obtaining an £800,000 loan for Boris Johnson before being selected). They never object if the BBC are supporting their policies, such as Andrew Neil from their politics show tweeting right wing views, and there wasn't anything like this when Danny Dyer had a go at David Cameron, but l think Lineker has hit a nerve. Sadly and callously, it's also a wedge politics distraction from the policies they are trying to push through. Once again, the Tories can just fuck off, although you have to admire the way they managed to find in Suella Braverman someone more poisonous than Priti Patel.
Never vote Tory

A great photograph by Tony Zerna. It looks cute, but that tongue can rip skin to the bone.
Ladies and gentlemen, l present to you Estonia's Rain Epler. If this catches on, l will start supporting Liverpool.
It's Manchester United versus Liverpool again today, for me, is the biggest game of the season in the league. I had tickets for Will Sheff from Okkervil River at Leeds tonight, but gave them away, as the football is more important, and I hadn't realised the events clashed (and l've got work in the morning which l couldn't get out of). Let's hope it's a good result, or l will be mightily pissed off.
Here's a reup of some of my old programmes.

Johnny Depp has been out and about, shopping at Hemswell's Antique shop in Lincolnshire. All well and good, and he is obviously approachable. But what the fuck is he dressed like? Fair enough if he has just been doing a bit of painting or is on his way home after a three day bender, but he always used to be so cool and stylish, and this sartorial aberration is becoming a regular occurrence.
I blame The Tories.

Both of these little beauties are venomous. And people wonder why l don't go to Australia. It's scary enough going in my own garage.

Rather like me, John Taylor is an outrageously handsome and intelligent man of taste and varied interests. Unlike me, he's a man of wealth and taste, which make a huge difference.

A reason why the fan experience of going to football in Germany is better. As well as being much cheaper to get in, you can also buy 6 beers for 14 Euros, and get a handy device to carry them in.
One of them each half and you're sorted!

Well, this isn't exactly new news, but it's good to have some more proof.
Never vote Tory.

It was a bit busy in the bar yesterday for the Newcastle United v Manchester United Cup Final.
And it was a great result!!

Love this latest work from stuffbymark. One of my favourite songs (By The Buzzcocks), done as a kitchen sink drama advert.
Bought some dodgy Ecstasy last night. I must be getting used to them, as l took the whole packet and they had no affect, although they did taste nice for a change.
Toodle pipI was persuaded to work for this company for some cash in hand many moons ago. I did one day and thought 'Never again'. Way too much like hard work.
